Legacy Designs & Alterations was created in 2023 after an influx of alteration requests from friends and family. I have been sewing for over 45 years — from peeking over my mother's shoulders as she made my clothes to making clothes for my four grandbabies. I have experience in many different sewing projects, including my secondary business making burp cloths for babies: Urpsie Burpsies.

I can repurpose old family wedding gowns into cocktail dresses, Baptism gowns, Bride's robes, First Communion dresses, bouquet wraps, Groom's pocket squares, handkerchiefs, Ring Bearer pillows, garters, and more. I can also do bridal and formal alterations.
